Designer's Notes
A dark and dated 1970s California ranch kitchen is made open and bright with all new cabinets, appliances, porcelain tile flooring, granite countertops and limestone backsplash. A custom tile painting is featured above the stove. Down came peninsula cabinets suspended from the ceiling and up went decorative lights. The original ceiling lighting was a large fluorescent recessed area. The plastic lenses were removed and recessed lighting was installed. The adjacent laundry room was also updated and made more functional.
